Spinal Manipulative Therapy

Our experienced Chiropractors primarily use manual spinal manipulative therapy techniques and along with mobilisation, which are applied with precision to the joints of the skeleton which show restricted motion.

Current medical literature shows that this form of spinal manipulative therapy is highly effective in both restoring function and providing pain relief to the area.

We do not manipulate or 'adjust' where contra-indicated, and as an alternative, we often practice mobilisation which involves gently stretching the restricted joints and soft tissues. This technique is especially beneficial for areas such as hips, shoulders and ankles in conditions such as osteoarthritis.
